Welcome to the Terrace Lofts Apartments in beautiful Ocean Grove. In just over one hour's drive from Melbourne you can be sitting by the surf beach or enjoying walks along the beach. Many keen locals and visitors walk the 8km stretch of beach between Ocean Grove and Barwon Heads, crossing the historic Barwon Heads bridge to a welcome restaurant or cafe for an afternoon of relaxing and exploring the region.

Our property is one of the closest accommodation properties to the main shopping district of Ocean Grove, within 100 metres of cafés, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Whilst being close to shopping and dining amenities, we are still only two blocks from the surf beach.

 

The property consists of four self-contained apartments that can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests each. The apartments are beautifully furnished with fully equipped recently renovated kitchens and laundry in every apartment and come complete with all bedding, linen and towels. Wifi and Netflix are also included in every apartment at no extra charge.

 

Ocean Grove is home to some of Australia’s best beaches, and the surf beaches are superb with golden sands and protected dunes. There is also a sandy beach at the mouth of the Barwon River overlooking Barwon Heads which is very popular with families looking for calmer waters for the children.

Smith’s Beach facing Bass Strait is a favourite for swimmers, surfers and people who just want to soak up the sun. There is also good beach fishing along the wide sandy strip. There are an abundant range of events in the town, many featuring the beach with various surf life saving events.

 

The main street, The Terrace, is home to a vibrant cosmopolitan shopping area with excellent shopping, cafes, restaurants and bars. There are some great surf shops and the streetscape has recently been upgraded, with shark fin metal bollards giving the street a great nautical look. You will find many options for enjoying alfresco dining.
